Uniform
- Grey or black trousers/skirt/pinafore – jean may not be worn
- White shirt/blouse or polo shirt or bottle green polo shirt
- Bottle green jumper/sweatshirt/cardigan/fleece which may be branded with the school logo and purchased via the link above – unbranded black items are also welcome
Footwear
- Plain black flat soled shoes or trainers
The type of shoes that are not acceptable for pupils to wear:
- Shoes which pupils cannot safely run wearing (need to be suitable for playtime activities)
- Open toe design
- Coloured laces
- Knee-high boots
PE
- Black shorts – these must be of an appropriate length. Short ‘Nike Pro style’ shorts are not permitted.
- White polo or bottle green PE t-shirts
- Black plimsolls are required for indoor shoes and pupils may wear black trainers for outdoor sports
- Black sports leggings or joggers may be worn outdoors
- A black hoody or school sweatshirt may be worn outdoors
- These may be branded with the school logo, but it is not a requirement
Hairstyles
- Long hair should preferably be tied back, especially on PE days
- We would prefer no hair extensions or hair dye – only allowed if it appears natural
Hairstyles
Pupils are not permitted to wear jewellery at school. The exceptions to this rule are:
- Earring studs in pierced ears
- Watches may be worn – these must not be smart watches
- Small objects of religious significance
- Medical identification bracelets
All jewellery, bar medical identification bracelets, are to be removed during PE, games and swimming lessons due to health and safety reasons. If earrings cannot be removed, they need to be taped over with a plaster.
Make-up
Pupils are not permitted to wear make-up. Brightly coloured nail varnish and false nails are not allowed.
